In 1995, visionaries who believed in the transformative power of design came together to establish the Korea Federation of Design Associations (KFDA).
Over the past three decades, design has evolved beyond industry and culture to become a universal language—one that shapes public policy, enriches daily life, and connects every part of our society.
As KFDA celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, we are launching a new chapter to share the value of design more widely and meaningfully.
Design Day will be a time to honor the conviction that design can touch more lives, ignite creativity, and drive innovation across communities.
Design invites us to see the world with fresh eyes. It connects people, spaces, ideas, and possibilities. It helps us uncover problems—and imagine better solutions.
For these reasons, design is not a luxury for a few, but a shared public value that must be nurtured for all.
Design Day will be both a celebration of that belief and a platform for asking the questions that will shape the next generation.
We warmly invite you to be part of this meaningful beginning.
